It is for this reason that we commit to aligning our Privacy Policy and practical application thereof with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 of South Africa.
We will only use your Personal Information for the purpose required to assist you, or provide solutions to you. We will not share or further process your Personal Information with anyone if it is not required to assist you with your solutions, or unless it is required by law.
We will ensure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete, updated and not misleading by obtaining your Personal Information directly from you.
It is important to note that if you include the Personal Information of other related parties when engaging with us, we will also process their Personal Information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. When you give us Personal Information about other related parties, you confirm that you have received their permission to share their Personal Information with us for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy or any other related purposes.
We will ensure that any contracted third party with whom we share your Personal Information, agrees to keep your information confidential and appropriately secured.
We will not sell or rent your Personal Information to third parties. The only information about users we will ever disclose to third parties is aggregate information as defined above.
What is personal data or information?
Personal information is any information relating to an identifiable living or juristic person. Some examples are: race, gender, marital status, nationality, age, physical or mental health, disability, language, education, identity number, telephone number, email, postal or street address, biometric information and financial, criminal or employment history.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect and process your personal information primarily to provide you with access to our services and products. We collect information directly from you when you provide us with your personal details, for example when you purchase a product or service from us via our website, engage in course material on our online learning academy platform, are a direct Business Coaching or Business Consulting client of ours, submit enquiries or contact us for any other reason.
We may process your personal information on more than one lawful basis, but we will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we have collected it – unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another purpose compatible with its original collection.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on our website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Coursework
When you engage in a course on our learning academy platform, the information you enter will be retained and stored on our secure servers for as long as you have an active profile and account with us. You will always have the option to delete your account. Delete My Account Now.
When you first create an account or profile, we’ll ask you to provide email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Create your account for our LMS
If you register a free account then we will store your email address.
We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable).
We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Should you complete a contact form or email subscription form then your data will be stored and used so that we may respond to your query or contact you.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores on the visitor’s computer or mobile device. Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, our instructors and administrators can access:
- Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address.
- Any additional information added to your TCEA User Profile can also be visible to the instructors and administrator(s).
Payments

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
How we secure your data
We have put appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal information from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed or accessed in an unauthorized way.
